The first batch of bad weather of the season. We're watching the weather channel and looks like we could get hit hard.
Almost a month since I blogged. March just roared past me. Can't believe it's almost over. Have had company over a couple of weekends, office work, baby sitting the Gabster (who is just tooooooooooo cute)and slinging the steaks. Did I forget to mention those mundane household chores too? I've been sneaking in some time to work on some projects in my studio. Was gonna try for the SWS design team but after the way my month went I just decided it's not my time to try for something like that, not that I'd get it, but God works in mysterious ways you know.
Last night I was reminded again why I like to wait tables. The money is a big thing, but I had a couple of tables that started out kinda grumpy and down then after getting a good meal and good service (of course) they had an attitude turn around. I sometimes forget that my job is more than just a job, it's a ministry too.

I've decided to try to work with beeswax. As in using it to assemble and glue. Here's where the patience thing comes in. I don't have it. Whenever I try to learn something new I never want to wait as long as it takes to do it. As in waiting for something to dry before going to the next step or waiting for the wax to actually melt enough so it's the right consistancy. So, tomorrow I will try again and hopefully have the patience it takes to WAIT!!!!!! The one nice thing about working with the beeswas is that to remove something you don't like all you have to do is melt and scrap it off. Sweet!!!
